Our Chief Instructor is Sensei Ohta, 6th dan, who will visit Harpenden to conduct gradings and hold special courses for students.
After graduating from Takushoku University, Sensei Ohta attended the famous JKA Instructors Course. From 1982 to 2003 he was assistant to Sensei Keinosuke Enoeda in the UK, during which time he built an international following and reputation.
Sensei Ohta is without doubt one of the most popular and technically sound Shotokan Instructors in the world.
