Sensei Simon Marchant-Jones, 2nd Dan
Sensei Simon is a JKA Qualified Instructor and second dan black belt. He first studied karate at Leeds University in 1974. In 1976 he moved to London and joined the renowned Marshall Street dojo of the late Sensei Enoeda until 1982 when he rested until 1999!
In 1999, aged 45, he re-commenced training and gained his first black belt in 2003 under Sensei Ohta, Chief Instructor of the JKA in England, and passed the second dan in 2006.
In early 2007 Sensei Simon passed the JKA Instructor’s qualification and is an assistant instructor at Sensei Ohta’s Oasis Club in London.
Sensei Simon is a chartered accountant and treasurer of JKA England.
